Electricity to be supplied at Rs 5, claims Khursheed

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khursheed Shah has claimed that electricity would be supplied at Rs 5 per unit in the next two or three years, a private TV channel reported.
Addressing a public gathering, he claimed that the current government’s policies would lead to mark 2014-15 as the ‘year of lights’ and that load shedding would end by then.
He also vowed that the electricity, which is currently supplied at Rs 18 per unit, would be supplied at Rs 5 per unit with in few years.
