Foreseeing the immense demand of steel in Pakistan during the next few years due the government’s plans to construct mega hydel power projects and infrastructure projects, Turkish investors have started looking for opportunities for investment in the country. A two member Turkish delegation of steel sector visited Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) and exchanged views with Pakistani counterparts for exploring opportunities of mutual cooperation in the steel sector. Commercial Counsellor of Turkish Embassy Cezmi Besogul also accompanied the delegation. A statement issued by ICCI said the delegation was on a visit to explore the potential of the market for import and export of steel products.
