Personnel of Khasadar force destroyed a bomb by firing at a gunny bag here on Saturday.
According to an official of political administration Landikotal, Khan Pasand Khan, the militants had packed the bomb in a gunny bag. On receipt of an intelligence tip, the personnel of the force fired at the bag and destroyed the bomb.
It is worth mentioning that security forces and political administration have launched an operation in the area against the militants. The administrative sources said that people in the possession of explosive material were now trying to take it out of their homes and hide it in unpopulated areas.
