PTI will shoot down drones: Imran

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan told supporters at a rally in Swabi on Friday that those in power should be embarrassed about the ongoing drone attacks violating Pakistan’s sovereignty and killing innocent people.
Khan said the PTI would not let the United States attack Pakistan through drones and would shoot them down. “We will help them [US] get out of Afghanistan but we will not become a part of their war,” he said.
Khan also said if the PTI came to power, it would free the people of Pakistan from US slavery. “We won’t beg, we won’t take loans and we will generate our own funds,” he said.
Predicting the success of his party, he said even if the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) united, PTI would “bowl them all out on the first ball”. “The nation has decided it wants a change and no political party can defeat PTI’s tsunami,” said Khan. Promising a better Pakistan under his party’s leadership, Khan said the PTI would bring investment to the country and would tax the rich. He also said his party would fix the education sector and put in place a uniform education system.
“The green passport will be respected and people from abroad will come to Pakistan in search of jobs,” Khan stated. “Pakistan is a rich country and we will make it better,” he added.
The cricketer-turned-politician said all political parties were afraid of the PTI and were uniting to pass the 20th Amendment. He said President Asif Ali Zardari was the most corrupt person in the country, adding that his party would bring justice to all the corrupt people and no one would be spared.
1 killed, 7 injured in attack after PTI rally: Heavy firing followed hand-grenade explosions as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) concluded its huge public gathering in Swabi on Friday. Media reports said a man was killed in the attack and seven others were injured. Some participants of the rally were also among the injured as gunmen attacked police personnel travelling in a bus, injuring six policemen, including a female constable. Reportedly, the police van was leaving the venue of PTI’s rally when the attackers lobbed two hand-grenades at it and opened fire. PTI Chairman Imran Khan and other party leaders had left the venue by the time the incident took place, sources said. The injured were rushed to Swabi District Headquarters Hospital and Kalo Khan Hospital. Police cordoned off the area and the bomb disposal squad was combing the site.

    • You are right. He is acquiring more lotas in Mardan. It is easy to talk and doing it is another. If Imran wants to be a SAM, then start calling him 'Imran Rocket.' Then PTI will start WW3. Salams

    Control ur diry language.For the last 07 years, Mr.Imran Khan is speaking against war on terror.At that time, your beloved Mr.Nawaz Sharif was enjoying the life in Sarwar Palace Jeddah and Mr.Zardari was doing business in New York.Do you know the meaning of LOTA? The one who resigns from one party and joins the other one (who is not having any seat in parliament) is not LOTA.Ask any political analyst.

  16. I used to support PMLN up until the wikileaks reveled that Mian Sahib was begging US to make him Prime Minister. It's really disheartening to see a leader of one of the biggest political party pandering to petty American officials. Mian Shahbaz Sharif, on one hand tells Taliban not to attack Punjab because PMLN has the same ideology and on ther other hand he attends US National day and cuts a cake with US council general.

    I am disappointed at PMLN and now I think Imran Khan and PTI are the only hope Pakistan has of getting rid of it's misery. I know Imran Khan and PTI might not be able to make Pakistan a complete welfare state but I am 100% sure that Imran will try his best to do it.

USA does not need us but we do. when your hospital needs contributions where do you head to.? Is it again one of your off day comments! Don.t be a man of all seasons. We trust you but don,t bite the hand that feeds our army. Any way if you read history which i am sure you read in Oxford USA was never keen on Pakistan anyway.This was the view of Eisenaware Administration.Need a ref.?

  20. Imran khan had said he would do a "Dharna" against Drones where is his so called "Dharna"? Mr. U Turn. Where are the proofs which he said he collected against MQM? Every single word which he had said he turned. He said he would provide free education Namal college is pakistan's most expensive college. His labs are looting the masses Shaukat Khanam labs are most expensive labs among all of labs. There is no relief to poor

    • Are u living on another planet?Namal College is providing free education to 75% students.Similarly, 75% patients are being treated free by Shukat Khanam Hospital.All the lab tests of patients admitted in Shaukat Khanam are free.The blood collection centre of Shuakat Khanam all over the the country are charging just to raise funds for the people who are being treated free at Shaukat Khanam.How can you mix both of these?Have you checked the fees charged by your beloved Sharif's hospital, the Iffefaq Hospital?First check the facts and do not mix different things together to get a result of your own choice!

      • I agree with you! ! don,t live in Pakistan but whatever i have heard about the hospital is nothing but positive. I only wish we could have similar satellite hospitals all over pakistan. Imran has done a wonderful service to pakistan.Let us not take this away from him

  23. Be aware all of my beloved Pakistanis. You are so innocence. Please reject all Landlords, chowdhries, rich, old faces and those who are not paying government taxes in next elections. They have been making you owl. Just vote to poor, sincere, educated and reputable candidate in your concequencies. Do not see which party he belongs. May God blessed on us with sincere HAKIMS in next elections.
