LHC CJ launches capacity building programmes for judges

The Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Azmat Saeed has started a seven-phase training programme of Capacity Building for judges in Punjab which will be completed with the support of law and justice experts from foreign countries. The purpose is to enhance techniques for judging cases of large numbers in accordance with the constitution and law of the land. The workshops and training courses will start on February 10 at the principal seats of the LHC and its benches at Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur and Multan, as well as the Punjab judicial academy in Lahore. The workshops will be held for district and session judges on constitutional law and labour laws, banking, anti-corruption, anti-Terrorism, labour, consumerism and accountability court mechanisms.
