Islam to dominate world in future, says Shakil Awan

Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) on Wednesday organised a Naat competition among the school students of Rawalpindi/Islamabad in connection with sacred month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. Member National Assembly (MNA) Malik Shakil Awan was the chief guest of the ceremony. Talking on the occasion, Malik Shakil Awan said Islam is real region and it will dominate the whole world in future.
He said those realities are being unearthed through scientific approach today which the Holy Quran had revealed 1,400 hundred years ago. He said the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the only way for a better life in this world and the hereafter and urged to follow his teachings of tolerance, understanding and respect for humanity. “The entire life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a beacon and worthy of emulation by all as his personality is characterised by attributes of sympathy, generosity, bravery, mercifulness and hospitality,” Awan said.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of people from the twin cities. In Naat Competition, Zahra Hyderi from the British Academy secured first position, Azhar Abbas from Rising School got second while Arslan from The Rise Montessori achieved third position. Faiza from The Happy Palace succeeded in securing fourth consolation prize. Awan distributed shields and certificates among the students. Resident Director Waqar Ahmed also announced that the council would organise a Ladies Mehfil-e-Naat next week.
