Pakistani Ambassador wants series with India

Pakistan’s Ambassador to UAE Jamil Ahmed Khan has said that like the cricket team, Pakistani nation has a great talent. Talking to journalists here at the Dubai International Stadium, where he was present to watch the Pakistan cricket team beat England, he said that frequent holding of Pakistan’s home series in UAE has increased his responsibilities but he loves to see the team play here. As the Ambassador of Pakistan to UAE and former Ambassador in Libya, Jamil Ahmed Khan has been acknowledged by the Government of Pakistan for bringing many positives to Pakistan.
He further stated that the Pakistan community in Pakistan was happy to see the Pakistan team in action here in the UAE.
He further added that he had talked with the Pakistan government and the PCB for holding the India series here and had also talked with the Indian ambassador and he has written to his government and the BCCI and all of them are awaiting.
“It’s not only the Indian or Pakistan community but all the Commonwealth nations who want to see series between Pakistan and India,” he added.
The Pakistan ambassador further stated that the Pakistan community needed support because last year they sent $1.8 billion which increased to 2 billion this year and it is expected to rise next year. On a question, he said that he would ask President to spare sometime to Pakistan and England ODI here in the UAE.
