National Productivity Organisation (NPO) concluded the four-day workshop on ‘Logistic and Supply Chain Management’ on Monday.
The main purpose of this event was to improve long-term performance of individual companies and supply chains. According to a statement issued by the NPO, the session was addressed by a lead auditor of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, Muhammad Kamran Khalid.
so far in pakistan there is no concept of logistics and scm.we still are a long way in creating awareness about this neglected yet significant aspect of businesses in our firms.we can not deny the fact that future businesses are all about how efficiently and effectively companies manage their supply chain and logistics.
