The City District Government Rawalpindi has finalised arrangements to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) with religious fervor.
District Coordination Officer (DCO) Saqib Zafar presided over the meeting that decided that foolproof security would be ensured on the Eid Milad-un-Nabi and the security plan would be issued soon.
The meeting decided that a Central Control Room would be set up at the DCO Revenue Office in the district court to monitor the processions.
A directive was issued to the Rawal Town administration to set up emergency relief camps at the Committee Chowk, Fawara Chowk and Shah Nazir Dewan.
Moreover, three teaching hospitals will arrange extra beds in hospitals to tackle any emergency situation and the government employees from several departments, including TMA, WASA, Sui Gas and PTCL will be on duty during the processions.
