Iranian border guards shot dead at least six Pakistanis and wounded two others after they strayed across the border in a remote southwestern area, Pakistani officials said Friday.
“We received information from border police that eight Pakistanis from Sunsar village along with their livestock went inside an Iranian area,” Mujeebur Rehman, deputy administrator of port town of Gwadar, told AFP.
“Six of them were killed in firing by Iranian border forces and two others were wounded,” Rehman said.
The shootings happened overnight, he added.
Efforts are underway to try and contact the Iranian authorities to retrieve the bodies and the two wounded Pakistanis, Rehman said.
The Iranians thought the pakistanis were spies for the CIA.
So, the Iranians found it convenient to kill Pakistani people instead of arresting them and finding out who there really were and why they strayed into their country? When the Iranian guards killed a few Pakistani people in the Pakistani territory a few weeks ago, our government was "generous" enough to release them instead of charging them. What a way to return the favor Iran.
Sorry to say the Iranians think they are better than Pakistani, calling them dirty and saying they kidnap their women and rape them. They will USE Arabs and Pakistani but they dont like them, and thats been told to me by many of them.
