The Government College University Lahore Debating Society has won the All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Contest 2012, organised by the Wise College Gulberg. As many as 56 speakers from 14 prestigious educational institutions took part in the contest. In Urdu debate, Zahid Ali secured the first position while Adnan Farooq stood second. Qurat-ul-Ain secured the third position in English Debates. The GCU team also lifted a tem trophy. GCU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman congratulated the orators on their achievement.
