Tired of his ‘unprofessional’ behaviour, Ekta Kapoor and Sanjay Gupta have decided to replace Vivek in Shootout at Wadala. Vivek Oberoi in Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout At Wadala was all set to match Akshay Kumar in Milan Luthria’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Part 2’.
The actor who played Maya Dolas in Gupta’s ‘Shootout At Lokhandwala’ was reportedly going to play Dawood Ibrahim in the second part of the film. However, Gupta doesn’t “want him” anymore. Tired waiting for the actor to get back with a confirmation, Gupta and producer Ekta Kapoor have not only decided to replace him but also ask Vivek to return the script that he had been keeping with him. The fact that Vivek took too much time to revert back with a definitive answer irked Gupta.
“We ran out of patience. I don’t put up with such behaviour. We don’t want Vivek in the film now. We have also asked him to return the script,” said Gupta. Ekta, however, decided to remain diplomatic and simply added: “Gupta felt that he needed someone with a different personality than Vivek. We abide by the director’s vision.”
