Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) ameer Munawar Hasan said that extending any support to the US in the present situation was tantamount to nursing the snake and giving protection to a cunning enemy.
Addressing a large Friday congregation at the Mansoora mosque, the JI ameer said that the entire nation had welcomed the stoppage of NATO supplies and the eviction of the US forces from the Shamsi airbase following the NATO attacks at the military posts. However, he said, there were indications that this decision was being reviewed.
