Ghazal maestro Mehdi Hassan’s doctor has said that the singer is not on a ventilator and is currently under treatment at the Special Care Unit of Agha Khan Hospital in Karachi, according to media reports.
Earlier it was reported in some sections of the media that the singer is on a ventilator following respiratory problems.
The 84-year-old Hassan has been ill for the last few years due to a serious lung problem that has led to complications and breathing problems.
