A high-level advisory meeting of the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) was held at Mansoora on Thursday, which reviewed the prevailing political situation of the country and decided to intensify contacts with opposition parties. Talking to reporters, Baloch said that the meeting decided to intensify contacts with the opposition parties on the one point agenda of forcing the government to announce fresh elections in order to pave way for free, fair and transparent elections under an interim government and an independent Election Commission.
