Chief of Staff Vice Admiral Tayyab Ali Dogar was the chief guest on the occasion, while Senior Col Zhang Jingen from the Embassy of People’s Republic of China was also present.
The Pakistani and Chinese dignitaries hailed the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and China. They observed that such goodwill visits could greatly contribute in promoting the ties of friendship, mutual respect and trust between the people of both countries, which have strengthened over the years and have withstood the challenges of time. The ceremony was attended by a large number of Armed Forces officers and guests from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, who enjoyed the dazzling traditional performance presented by the renowned cultural troupe from China.
