President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday called an emergency meeting of the Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) core committee at the Presidency in Islamabad, according to media reports.
A scheduled meeting of the president with a delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders in Karachi was also postponed earlier today.
Speaking to a private TV channel, presidential spokesperson Farhatullah Babar declined to comment on the Supreme Court’s orders on the NRO case Tuesday, stating that he had not yet read the detailed verdict.
EMERGENCY
PM taken to the cleaners by the justices assisted by the President.
this coward will run to dubai soon.. why dont pakistanis stay inside their cesspool nation…why do they have to come to other nations?????
Zardari will reap the harvest for what he has sown. He had the opportunity to make a place for himself in history, but he chose to squander it and pile up his bank accounts and assets further. Greed, it seems has no limit when it comes to Pakistan's corrupt politicians, generals, civil bureaucrats and traders, who have made a mockery of this unfortunate nation and its laws.
NRO & COAS's visit to China; something being cooked!
Very sad. Pakistanis are always thinking that there is a conspiracy going on.Used to be relatively saner nation about 20+ years ago.
Let us see what role MQM plays in this scenario.
If Asif Zardari is relying on MQM for help in hour of need then he is sadly mistaken. MQM will just cross over to the other side and ditich Asif Sahib once for all.
