Robbers looted a travel agency on Friday in one of the city’s busiest commercial centres.According to the police, three unidentified armed robbers stormed into Alnoor Travel Agency situated in the Blue Area. After taking the staff hostage at gun-point the robbers looted Rs 4 lakh. Police said the robbers fled in a black coloured Corolla car. The owner of the travelling agency, Zia Ahmed, registered an FIR against unidentified people with the Kohsar Police.
Meanwhile, the police claimed to have arrested 25 persons from various areas of the city for their alleged involvement in drug peddling, theft cases, on Friday.
