Due to their vested interests, some parties are creating hindrances for the people of Hazara but the people should pursue their peaceful struggle without getting perturbed by these parties, said MQM chief Altaf Hussain on Thursday. “The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) would remove the injustices done to the oppressed and downtrodden people of the country in the past 65 years, including the Hazarewal community, and continue the struggle for their rights,” he said while talking with the party’s office-bearers of Abbottabad Zone and district committees on the telephone. Congratulating the people of Hazara on the resolution regarding creation of Hazara and Seraiki provinces, Hussain said the MQM believes in realism and practical solutions. “By presenting the resolution for Hazara and Seraiki provinces in the parliament, the MQM has proved its credentials of being the true representative party of the poor,” he said. “It is also evident that the MQM is making practical efforts for their rights.” The MQM chief said that anti-people forces have levelled baseless allegations against the MQM in order to keep the poor, oppressed, and exploited people away from the just struggle. The MQM had clearly shown as to who the real friends of the people of Hazara are and who are working against their interests, he added. Hussain asked the Abbottabad Zone office bearers to forge unity among people and respect poor workers. He also commended the office-bearers and workers of the zone for remaining steadfast despite hardships and problems.

  1. Dear Altaf bhai what a pity that people are dying for basic necessities but you are trying to open another pandora box. The good act at the wrong time. Please keep it for some other time. Have your party resolved peoples issues by starting the game of hide & seek with the PPP for going out & coming in from the Government??????? I think 80% manifesto has been fulfilled & remaining 20% is that????? What a pity!!!!!!
