QUETTA – Dead bodies of 3 more missing persons, including a journalist, were found in Pidarak area of Kechh district, some 550 Km west of Quetta on Wednesday.
Levy personnel, after being informed by the local people, shifted the bodies to a local hospital. The bodies, identified as Chakar Qambar, a central committee member of Baloch Student Organization and Ilyas Nazar, a local journalist of Balochi magazine Mahtak, and a final year student of Computer Sciences.had received bullets in their heads and also bore torture marks.
Qamber was whisked away by the personnel from intelligence agencies and Frontier Corps Balochistan from his residence in Turbat town along with his organization colleague Irshad Baloch who was picked up from his own house in the same town on November 22 last. Irshad is still missing.
Ilyas Nazar was picked up by the same agencies from a passenger bus in costal town of Ormara while he was on his way from Quetta to his native town of Turbat on December 28 last.
Dead body of Mir Yousaf Langov, who was picked up by the personnel of Frontier Corps along with his armed body guards two months ago from Mangochar town of district Kalat, was also identified last night in Bolan Medical Complex hospital Quetta. His body was found in Killi Kirani in the outskirts of provincial capital of Quetta five days ago but was placed in the mortuary.
Over 70 persons were killed after being whisked away by the state agencies during the past six months and their bodies were thrown in desolate places.
Governor Balochistan Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi on Monday last has made a passionate appeal to Chief of the army staff General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kyani during his visit to Sui to resolve the issue of missing persons and their killing.
