A police officer was killed and two civilians were severely injured when unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on them in G-11 Markaz in a late night attack on Wednesday. According to preliminary details, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Zulifqar died on the spot while two youth, Yousaf and Mudassar, received injuries when the unidentified men opened fire on them and fled after the shooting.
The deceased and injured were taken to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences while security has been tightened in the city.
Ramna Station Police has registered an FIR and investigations are underway.
