PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan on Tuesday said he was not joining the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. Talking to reporters at Lahore Airport before his departure to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh to attend the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, he said the PPP workers and the people were in a state of quandary over the inability of the authorities to expose Benazir’s killers. Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz said Interior Minister Rehman Malik was going to expose the killers of Benazir but PPP Chairman Bilawal Zardari Bhutto prevented him from doing so as he wanted that any announcement in this respect should be made after the case was completely investigated. “If Bilawal Bhutto allows, then the interior minister will inform the people about the killers on the eve of Benazir’s fourth death anniversary,” he said.
May I ask why? Do you see your prospects are better in PPP?
YOU ARE A VERY UNUSUAL PERSON.
For the first time in my life I was really disappointed by Aitezaz by singing Bilawal's and Asifa's songs and, hence, declared himself a pro-ancestral politics or, in other words, praised the status-quo and supported a person (Zardari) who is a symbol of corruption. I would just say, "Aisay Aitezaz ko may nahin manta, main nahin manta" Aitezaz: you have failed those people who supported you in you campaign for the restoration of judiciary. You are now supporting a bigot who is threatening that judiciary every now and then. You made a laugh of Javed Hashmi's switch to PTI but he actually showed maturity to not support the bigotry of PMLN but you don't have that. You are simply another Jiala irrespective of what your "leaders" do. I am really hurt by your comments today. I respected you all along but not anymore.
Zardari is simply doing a damage limitation exercise, as are the PML-N lot.. This chap obviously didn't agree with Imran's vision and may have only moved because he felt insulted by being neglected. It does beg the Q, what was he doing fishing elsewhere. but then maybe he was sent to find out useful information.
