Target killing have again intensified in Karachi as two people were gunned down and several others injured in separate incidents of firing in different localities of the city on Thursday-Friday night.
According to details, unknown armed men opened fire at two people present outside Super Market, near Al-Asif Square in Sohrab Goth. Lal Khan s/o Gul Muhammad and Shamhoon Khan s/o Jannat Gul were killed in the incident. Their bodies have been shifted to hospital for medico legal requirements.
The police feared that the shooting incident could be outcome of personal enmity. The deceased were stated from Khyber Pakhtunkhawa province.
Meanwhile, eight persons were injured in separate firing incidents in Lyari, North Nazimabad, Shah Faisal Colony and other localities of the city.
The citizens have expressed grave concern over the resurgence in target killing and the failure of security personnel to overcome the situation.
