The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday decided to hire the services of retired revenue officials to deal with the cases of illegal allotment of land. In a meeting held under NAB Chairman Admiral (r) Fasih Bukhari, members of the Executive Board decided to convene a meeting of the bureau’s directors general in the second week of January to formulate policies to eradicate corruption from the society. The meeting took several important decisions, including the activation of retired revenue officials (regulators) to recover the amounts lost by corruption and misuse of authority.
