The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI)’s public gathering in Kasur on Tuesday was marred by ruckus when participants made off with chairs, banners and decorative items that were placed around and in front of the stage. Men, women and children were seen fighting to get a hold of chairs while the administration of the gathering looked on helplessly. Muhammad Jahangir, a resident of Kasur, lamented the boisterous behaviour of the crowd, saying such uncivilised behaviour had never been witnessed in the highly cultured and civilised city of Kasur. According to the locals, the looting started immediately after the procession and people were running with chairs piled on their heads, claiming it was their property.

  1. That was highly Strange, funny, Pathetic, and also reflects the current economic conditions that General public.

  2. when you will hire people to attend the rallies this will happen on and on! Imran Khan is no different than others he is playing the same politics like others.

  3. The issues of chairs is quite interesting. At the Minar-e-Pakistan rally, many PML(N) members were constantly talking about the number of "empty" chairs…it came to a point where every PML(N) internet freak was posting the same mantra over and over again, as if somebody had told them to write it. Now all of a sudden these "chairs go missing". I'm not sure what fetish the PML(N) has with chairs, but it's quite clear they do have issues they need to deal with…and immediately. The common people of Kasur have been made a mockery of, at the hands of a few individuals who wanted to defame the PTI, it's followers and the people of Kasur. Use your common sense, and you'll quickly find out who it was.

  4. In a country where people have started to eat dead bodies and fornicate with them, this is bound to happen. What else can one expect from a country where the biggest dacoit is the president.

  5. Mohammad Jahangir, the local resident, is sadly mistaken about Kasuris being civilised.

Centuries ago BABA BHULLAY SHAH the sofi poet said about Kasur, the city as follows:

    Kasur, ay shaher baydastoor
Aythoon day wadhay bandar tay chotay soor

    Translated in English it means:

Kasur, this city without any rules and regulations
The elders here are monkeys and the young ones pi**

I wonder what our former foreign minister would say to this!

    • It is probably the other way round

"Aythoon day Chotay bandar tay wadhay soor"

      In English

"The youngsters are monkeys and the elders pi*s"

(This would fit in how naughty the youngsters can be and how pi* headed can some times elders be. Probably true every where. Fits more with America these days!

  6. Old soldiers never die, they fade away and eventually are destined for posterity. A gem of a person, upright person, a very capable leader of the skies…. a star in the horizon of the Pakistan Air Force, acknowledged even by his adversaries…. the Israelis will never forget his six day war exploits during the 1967 Arab-Israel War. His achievements during the PIA post-retirement period and at the PHF single him out as the reasons for our continuous successes. May Allah Bless him and his family for giving us such a wonderful addition to our martial fraternity and for our pride in our Air force that is nulli secundus in the world! When comes such another! Daud Beg Ex-Sargodhian._

  7. Lota leagues has changed its name to PTI. If people think they will bring change then they are not intelligent at all.

  8. Tsunami means a devastating flood that brings untold misery to a nation. Is that what Imran Khan implied when he time and again says there will be a Tsunami in the fold of the politicians? Is the pandemonium at Kasur an analogy or events to come or is it a tide in the affairs of men when taken at the floods! Is it not the right time to dispense with sheep in borrowed clothings. The Quaid-e-Azam after partition said about a coterie of his appointees who unfortunately were corrupt, 'what can I do when I am surrounded by hounds!' Somethind to think about!
Baba Bullay Shah kee kehnda whey Kasur day baray?
First a leader almost made a PM of him and now the King's men are planning something insidious that would amount to nothing – and many say that in all its forms, nothing implies nothing! What is the political jargon you talk about bringing a change… don't be a demagogue that we could do without. Talk about issues, agendas and resolutions to redeem Pakistan's lost direction and foster better ideas for our survival and progress.

  9. Mr khan wants to fight corruption by bringing the most corroupt in the party he buys crowds to clap for him those people did the right thing atleast they got the chairs

  10. It just reflects the poverty that people are stealing chair. So sad to see Pakistani nation in such desperate.

  12. Beside Music interuptting his speech, he should have dancers too, what a mockery Imran's hollow campaigers are making of politica movement, political activism, how reduced politics has become in this Islamic Republic .

  13. OK, silly things were done but can i remind the PPP and PML supporters that Imran has never stolen a single thing from the masses but your dear leaders have fleeced the country to a point where it is bankrupt. Just a reminder of the things your leaders fleeced, PIA, PSM,PR,NCL etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc .
