LAHORE – Deutsche Bank (DB) today announced the appointment of Faizan Mitha as Managing Director (MD) and Chief Country Officer (CCO) for Pakistan. Mitha will succeed Shazad Dada.
As CCO, Mitha will be responsible for Deutsche Bank in Pakistan across all branches, and will manage the bank’s operations in the country from Karachi. He will report to Asia Pacific Chief Executive Officer Robert Rankin.
Mitha has 25 years of experience in the financial industry, most recently as group executive, global treasurer for Habib Bank Limited in Pakistan. Prior to that role, Mitha held senior positions at a number of international financial institutions across South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
