Pakistan ace tennis player Aisamul Haq on Saturday entered into the biggest match of his life when he tied the knot with Faha Akmal here at the Garrison Golf and Country Club.
A large number of family members, friends and officials of sports and government were present to witness the new couple enter into the marriage bond.
Talking to journalists on arrival at the club, Aisam said he was happy and hopeful. “It is every parent’s dream and likewise my parents are also very happy on my marriage,” he said, adding that Faha would be like a daughter to his parents. Also present among around 800 guests were Aisam’s former doubles partner Rohan Bopanna and American Robert Davis. “I am very happy to have such a nice husband,” said Faha.
