Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday said that his party fully favoured the democratic system and would not accept any unconstitutional steps.
Speaking to the media men, Khan said the country had been destroyed by military dictatorships and another martial law would not be tolerated.
Commenting on his talks with US ambassador Cameron Munter, Khan assured that his position during the meeting was similar to his public stance and that no changes had occurred in his stand after the meeting.
On the topic of calls for resignation by ISI chief Ahmed Shuja Pasha over memogate, the PTI chief said the Supreme Court was dealing with the issue and he hoped that a fair probe would unveil those responsible.

    • Now it appears that the military has decided to use Mr.Khan to further its interests. ISI will help install him in power in the next election!

      • I hope it does because military and ISI are the only true patriot's and saver of our country. If it was in the hand of Peoples Party or Muslim League, they would have sold the country time ago.
Remember foreign power are trying to give bad name to our military and ISI so please dont follow this new concept which is brough in our country by US.
As US how much CIA has influence on their politics. The big example of killing of US president Kennedy. Why under no one find out who was the killer cos there must be one inside.
So please open your eyes and look who is speaking who's language. However i agree with Imran that no more dictatorship.

  1. I m not supporting him. But he is 100% right.

For all those who are supporting dictatorship> guys is mulk ki adhi sae ziada zindagi dictatorship k under guzri. Aj is mulk ka haal ap daikh rahae ho. Agr ap itna e tym jamhuriat ko daetae to things could b far better than this. Mgar condition yae hae k continuty rahae jamhuriat ki.

Dictatorships men jtna b boom mila sb virtual tha for the time being things went good. In the end Pakistan ka hal ganda e tha.

    • Musharrafs ministers… PML-Q… were not in the army my dear friend, they are all civilians, politicians! Try to understand and not just come to rash conclusions! Dont tell me that you did not like the dictatorship of Musharraf in the beginning, we all had high hopes, and so did Imran! But we ( mostly) got to know the real Musharraf through media, and Imran too. And he backed out, so did we! So before stating that, look inside your/ours souls.. we are not clean either! We make mistakes, and we learn.. that is how a human is and made my Allah!

  2. Pakistan is already in a miserable state. Intervention of military will make it worse. We can not afford another martial law at all.

  3. Is that why he initially supported Musharraf and is now taking in Musharraf's leftovers in his party ????????? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. @ Ali .. Imran never supported Mushuraf ( do you homework ) … hehe in politics, everyone has links with agencies. So its not a big deal.
Military should not get into politics, But thing is our politics is a crap, You can expect anything worse from them. Imran, i think he speaks logical unlike most of our ministers and even former CMs, PMs.

  5. WHAT IMRAN KHAN SAYS HUNDRED PERSON RIGHT THAT THE DICTATORSHIPS HAVE DESTROYED THE WHOLE COUNTRY, NOT ONLY BY THE ARMED FORCES,BUT ALSO CIVIL DICTATORSHIPS ALSO.I AM ONE OF THE EFFETEE OF UGLY DICTATOR`S HARSH AND UNHUMAN PUNISHMENT BY KANA GENERAL ZIA WHO HAS DISPENSED MY SERVICES FROM P.I.A IN 1981 BY HIS NOTORIOUS MARTIAL LAW REGULATION NO.52 WITHOUT ANY JUSTIFICATION.AND TILL NOW I AM SUFFERING LOTS OF PROBLEMS INSPITES OF MY VARIOUS PETITIONS TO THE CONCERNED AUTHORITIES.BUT NO SUCCESS.WILL IMRAN KHAN DO THIS JOB AND GET ME JUSTICE WITH FULL FINANCIAL AS WELL AS OTHER BENEFITS? THE NATION HAS SEEN HOW THAT DICTATOR WAS KILLED,BUT HIS FOLLOWERS DID NOT LEARN THE LESSONS FROM THE RECENT HISTORY/BUT PERHAPS IMRAN KHAN CAN DO BETTER FOR THE NATION IN SHAH ALLAH.

  6. No one in their right minds would support a military takeover or dictatorship. But if Pakistan cannot produce any democratically elected suitable leaders, then maybe it should not have been created.

  7. Nawaz Sharif was was Zia'a Minister, Bhuttto was Yahya Khan Minister, MQM was Musharraf Die hard supporter. Atleast Imran was never got such affilioated with any dictator.

  8. Chalo maan letey han k sab politicians bad han lekin hamen un ma say sab say kam bad ko dekhna chahiye, and the mostly peoples are with him means the future prime minister Imran khan

  9. this time we will have civilian dictator in shape of Imran khan…. he is such a dictator refused to meet his close buddies for his power, he trashed Omer Serfraz Cheema for an ex APML Shfaqat Mehmood…Imran too is greedy for big names; he was unable to find one person capable for a vice chairman from his party…..yet he say that he will bring change….at least Mr khan acknowledge those who were with you and ur party when u were no body….

  10. I absolutely agree that Imran will fail to deliver. He is puppet of agencies only created to dent geniune political forces.

    • Can`t be any worse than cnuts that have been or are in power. Imran is part of the solution and the current set of crooks(both PPP and PML) the problem.

  11. Musharraf took over power on 12 October 1999. Imran Khan supported him. He continued supporting him when 9/11 happened. Musharraf surrendered to US dictates. Imran Khan continued to support him. Then came Referendum. Imran Khan fully supported him. Then elections were held. Imran Khan was gifted a seat in National Assembly. The immature Imran expected Musharraf will make him Prime Minister which was not possible. When Jamali was made Prime Minister became Musharraf's opponent. These are his credentials.

  12. Where does he stand on reducing/eliminating taxes, odious loans & taking to task those responsible. Wonder if he even knows what PKR is backed with, if anything.
