An accountability court on Wednesday allowed an application filed by Majid Naeem, ex-principal Punjab University College of Information Technology, seeking permission for release and sale of his car confiscated by NAB when he was arrested. The accused has to sell his vehicle to arrange the money required for down payment under the plea bargain agreement with NAB authorities.
According to details, Majid Naeem had filed an application in the court submitting that he has entered in to a plea bargain agreement with NAB authorities and requires some money to pay as down payment under said agreement which he could arrange by selling his vehicle bearing registration number LRE-404, confiscated by NAB authorities.
The court after hearing the argument allowed said application. The court also extended his physical remand till December 9.
