Ministry of Defense on Thursday made it clear that Shahbaz Airbase in Sindh was under complete control of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and there was no foreigner housed there at all.
Reacting to media reports that attributed foreigners presence to certain statements of Defense Minister Ahmed Mukhtar, a senior official of the ministry said that “there was no foreigner at the Shehabaz and it under complete control of PAF.”
The ministry rebuffed that Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar said any thing about US activities in Shahbaz airbase.
“The statement attributed to the defence minister regarding PAF Shahbaz airbase is incorrect,” the ministry added.
A section of media quoted Mukhtar as saying that US activities at the Shahbaz Airbase will also be inspected to determine what is going on there.
