The CNG supplies to gas stations remained closed all across Sindh, including the financial backbone Karachi, here on Wednesday, according to media reports.
Moments before the closure of CNG supply, a large number of long queues of vehicles were noticed waiting for CNG refill at almost every gas station.
The closure follows Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) announcement of a two-day closure of gas supply to pumps operating from Karachi to Kashmor.
People complained of suffering from misery by this decision, and said the stoppage of CNG supply from gas stations has badly disrupted daily routine. They urged the government to generate alternative ways to meet gas shortfall instead of suspension.
