China’s Foreign Ministry said on Monday it was “deeply shocked” about a NATO cross-border air attack that killed 24 Pakistani soldiers and urged respect for Pakistan’s independence and sovereignty.
“China is deeply shocked by these events, and expresses strong concern for the victims and profound condolences to Pakistan,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said in a statement on the ministry’s website.
“China believes that Pakistan’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity should be respected and the incident should be thoroughly investigated and be handled properly,” he said.
Pakistan has reacted with fury over the NATO cross-border air attack that could undermine the U.S. effort to wind up the war in Afghanistan.
NATO described the killings as a “tragic unintended incident” and said an investigation was under way. A Western official and an Afghan security official who requested anonymity said NATO troops were responding to fire from across the border.
Apart from Turkey and China, what have our other friends had to say? Our other "Muslim Brothers" remain silent as usual unwilling to annoy America.
China at least sees the big picture and understands that today Pakistan is meeting with 'accidents' but tomorrow similiar 'accidents' may occur between its forces and encroaching US interests. Obama has set his sight on China as America's new bogey man. China though, is not weak and friendless.
Everyone is shocked – not only Chinese — I am shocked and I am an Indian.

It's not political, it's economic – to do with this recession. The powers that be here in the West know the economy can't grow without stimulus, but for various reasons they can't or won't use that stimulus in a way that improves our standard of living. Solution: Start a massive, open-ended war. It's not a new idea; George Orwell wrote it into a book in 1948.
This is of course utterly evil and horribly dangerous. Our leaders are insane, really, truly crazy and evil. According to our laws, human lives are worth less than property; if a thief steals some money or a car they can get more jail time than if they kill someone! Another example: Western governments recently gave away all our money to rich bankers and then instituted massive cuts to public services, claiming there was a "debt crisis". Which THEY CAUSED!
These people have just robbed us all blind, and they are coming your way. Wherever you live, I suggest you dig a hole. I really don't think we're going to get through this decade.
