Setting up the Peace and Harmony Network Pakistan (PHNP) on Sunday, National Harmony State Minister Akram Gill, Maulana Zubair Abid and Bishop Dr Andrew Francis, along with Islamic scholars, representatives from Hindu, Christian, Sikh and Bha’i religions announced that they would work jointly at the district and national levels for the promotion of peace and harmony in society. PHNP Co-Chairperson Bishop Dr Andrew Francis said the approach used in this project was holistic, participative, consensual and national, and would have a cascading effect, to the grass-root level.
