SPARC will arrange a one-day consultation to highlight the issues of “Children of Incarcerated (Imprisoned) Parents” today (Thursday) from 10am to 1pm, at Blossoms Hall, Hotel Hospitality Inn.
The consultation would be attended by a number of provincial government department representatives, including the departments of Law, Police, Prison, Reclamation and Probation, Social Welfare, Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB), civil society representatives, senior media persons and Punjab Provincial Assembly members.
VIGIL: Marking 21 years of the “16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence” and to make a positive contribution towards the goal of establishing women as equal partners with men, Aurat Foundation is organising a candle light vigil themed “From Peace in the Home to Peace in the World” in front of the Punjab Assembly. The vigil will be held on today (Thursday) at 5.00pm.
EXHIBITION:Alhamra Art Gallery is holding an art exhibition titled ‘Winds of Change’, which would display works by students of Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi. Curated by Aasim Akhtar, the exhibition would be held on Friday, November 25 at 5.00pm.
