Only Zardari behind memo issue: Imran

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has called for the constitution of a judicial commission to probe into memo controversy, alleging President Asif Ali Zardari is the only one responsible for the memo issue.
“Memogate scandal should be investigated upto higher level. If it is true then it is treason against the state. Resignation of Hussain Haqqani is a correct step. President Asif Ali Zardari is the person who is really responsible for this issue. Constitution of commission by the government in this connection is purposeless. A commission comprising Supreme Court judges should be formed to probe into this matter”, PTI chairman said, while talking to media men here at airport on Wednesday after returning from London.
Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari both are brothers and both are tax evaders, he underlined, adding that their wealth is lying in offshore accounts. Scandals have come to open against Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif, and both should have approached courts in this respect to seek investigation into these scandals, he said.
“Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari and Shujaat Hussain are scared of PTI tsunami,” he further remarked.
He alleged that Nawaz Sharif had broken all the records of lying. He claimed that Nawaz Sharif had increased his factories from 1 to 27, adding that the Sharifs are products of the establishment. They have been brought up in the nursery of establishment and are now living in Raiwind palace, he charged.
He said Nawaz Sharif had obtained Rs 3.5 million from ISI and the case was pending hearing in the court. Supreme Court should hear
this case so that people could come to know who had got money upto what extent, he urged.
He also said that Nawaz Sharif should quit the politics now. PTI Karachi public meeting on December, 25 will make it clear upon the masses what is difference between state sponsored meeting and public meeting, he underlined.
“My wife came to Pakistan with her family and PML-N unleashed mudslinging campaign against her that she had come here in
connection with my public meetings. PML-N also charged her with working for Jewish lobby despite the fact that her family is
Christian, he maintained.
To a question he said ” Imran Khan feels no need to hide any thing. I had told one and a half year earlier I had held a meeting with DG ISI Gen Shujja Pasha with regard to the ongoing war against terrorism. Later I had neither met Gen Kayani nor Gen Pasha
separately. Nawaz Sharif and other persons run after them for having meeting.”
Responding to another question, he said that the US ambassador had come to his residence to meet him officially six months earlier, the way he goes to meet other people.
“I feel no need to hide any thing. What I say internally I say the same thing publicly. It should be asked from the Sharifs as to why Holbrook used to come to Raiwind to meet them repeatedly. These people fall on the feet of Americans in US and boast when they go to public,” he held.
Military option was no solution to terrorism, he said, adding that the whole world has acknowledged that dialogue is the only option to address the issue of terrorism. US are fighting in Afghanistan since the last 10 years but no solution to this problem has been evolved. Therefore, Afghan issue could only be resolved through talks, he stressed.

  15. Imran is a US agent and his connections r with US and Jewish lobby. Zardari is not child or a cricketer like Imran. Everyone knows Haqani is exceptionally intelligent person and he cannot be expected to do such a stupid act. Memo is without signature. It wud be a good for Haqani n Zardari if Supreme Court takes up this case, coz Courts recognize only hard evidence and there s no hard evidence against Zardari or Haqani. They will be proved innocent. Imran n Nawaz Sharif r fools to have made this suggestion.

  18. He is absolutely right. Only president should be held against memo case. He is trying to get away by putting this on Haqqani and others.

  19. Imran Khan is correct that Asif Zardari, Nawaz Sharif and Chaudrhi Sujahat have shown their colors and have failed to accomplish anything beyond nepotism, corruption and bad governance. The Faisalabad meeting was nothing more than mudslinging and this entire episode of Mullen Memo was a game of weasels to turn the odds against the Armed Forces and associated Institutions. Yes! an independent enquiry must be conducted.

  24. Imran Khan is correct leader for our country and now Pakistan's need a true sincere leader. Last 64 years on one come a true leader for our country except Quaid -e- Azam. In my country a lot a of talent, professional, scientist, Dr. engineers, national resources only need a best leadership. Then we will prove the best national in the world. 'Insha Allah."
