City police arrested two people involved in bhatta (extortionist) mafia in Surjani Town here of Friday.
According to details, the two extortionists threatened a Surjani Town’s trader to pay them Rs.20 million, otherwise, they would abduct his children and shoot them down.
The police also recovered an imported mobile SIM, brought over from Bangkok, from the criminals.
The trader, Haji Eesa expressed his satisfaction over the arrests.
