A reception to honour prominent poet, intellectual and scholar, Dr Jamiluddin Aali, in recognition of his services in the field of education and research during a 50-year association with Anjuman Taraqqi Urdu Pakistan, will be held on November 16.
The event is being organised at Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan Auditorium, Federal Urdu University, Gulshan campus at 4:30 pm, according to a press release issued on Sunday.
Seasoned intellectual, Dr Farman Fatehpuri will chair the programme, while University of Karachi Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Peerzada Qasim Raza Siddiqi and other notables are also expected to attend it.
