Salman Butt and Muhammad Asif both have decided to file appeals for transferring them to a prison in Pakistan for the completion of their jail term.
Both Pakistani cricketers imprisoned in London jail in spot fixing case have instructed their lawyers to file their petitions for transfer to Pakistan.
For approval of their petitions, both players will present their arguments that they are under threat from the dangerous prisoners in London jail so they should be transferred to their home country to complete the remaining term of prison.
It is expected that within next eight weeks, Pakistani cricketers’ lawyers will file petitions for their transfer.
After being proven guilty in spot fixing case, a London court awarded 30 months’ imprisonment to Salman Butt and 12 months to Muhammad Asif.

  1. why pakistan, why not sunny Barbados or delightfull Dubai.after all they only brought shame & embarassment to millions of pakistani in pakistan and around the world.

  2. My dear brothers… r u all crazy… just tell me one thing our all polititions are ****ing our country and ur all accepting them but not accepting these two men may be they are on a right way now…and u can say as a lesson learned…. and one thing more ur all hypocrate should kick the polititions out of pakistan than argue or give a decision for them… just behave like a sensible human being’s and not like donkies…

  3. These poor guys have done very little bad as compared to our politicians, but these poor guys get a big punishment while our corrupt politicians continue to live luxurious lives. Bloody hypocrite nation, we Pakistanis! SAD!

  4. The number of prisoners from Asian background in British jails is high. It is approximately, if I am not mistaken, around the 7000 mark. Muslim Imams regularly visit the prisons,

Friday prayers are regularly held. Since I have seen prisons both in Pakistan and UK I can say very confidently that the conditions are much better in UK. One should be very clear that prison means deprivation of liberties.

There is only one difference though everyone is treated equally and there are no special privileges which would be 'a done deal' whilst serving their term of confinement in a prison in Pakistan.

Salman Butt has come across as an arrogant person prepared to dodge the criminal justice system. His discourses with the prosecution barrister during the trial proceedings were of a very low standard.

The understanding of spoken language (English language) is different compared with how it is understood in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Salman Butt was, therefore, provided with an interpreter of whom he could make use of as and when needed.

If they serve their prison term in this country (UK) they will eventually turn out to be better human beings.

  5. i think they know as soon they will be shifted to pakistan some one from the so called higher class will escape them from behind the bars …they should stick in england and enjoy a luxorious and more respectable treatment
