A man shot dead his two sisters and a cousin over a domestic dispute here in Lahore on late Saturday night.
According to police, Akram, a resident of Sherakot locality, opened fire at his two sisters and a cousin, who were alseep. As a result of the firing, Munaza, 15, Saba, 14, and their cousin Muhammad Rafique were killed on the spot.
The accused injured himself with a bullet shot and termed the incident as robbery, but the police arrested the culprit, who admitted the crime during interrogation.
It should be mentioned that accused was in dispute with the family members over various issues. Parents of the deceased girls were not at home and Akram, taking advantage of their absence, killed the three.
The police have registered and further investigations are in progress.
