Fearing hidden hands being involved in a conspiracy to derail democracy once again, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif on Friday said those involved in the “secret game” would not be allowed to manipulate things any longer.
“I am duty bound to foil any underhanded game against the country. No move can de-track the Pakistani nation from achieving its objective and no corrupt mafia will be allowed to impose itself on the country,” Nawaz said while addressing an overseas convention at Raiwind. He rejected claims that a clandestine game of “forming government one after the other” was going on, saying only those who secured votes would get into power. “We will not allow any mafia to reoccupy Pakistan. People now have knowledge of everything and know who is dancing upon whose instructions,” he said. Nawaz said no one could inflict any further damage to the masses anymore. “To run the government is a noble mission that cannot be compromised on,” he added. “Those calling themselves champions of virtue were absent at the time of long march.”
Nawaz said the PML-N considered politics sacred, which was why it did not use “long march” for its political gains. “We are proud of walking our talk and the movement to reinstate judges is the best example,” Nawaz claimed.
Corruption Records: He said the present government broke all records of corruption. “I advised the government on the lines of Charter of Democracy to evolve a policy for the betterment of masses, but it found another way round each time,” Nawaz said. The PML-N chief said Pakistan was facing internal and external problems and the situation was not satisfactory. He said that under these circumstances, the country should be in safe hands, as it cannot afford more crises, adding that he was ready to make every sacrifice for the people of Pakistan.

  1. You are overweight, slow and out of touch. Late Irshad Haqqani, who regularly wrote for an Urdu daily, once wrote about you, " If it was done with his knowledge he was an incompetent Prime Minister and if it was done without his knowledge he again is an incompetent Prime Minister". He was referring to your stance on Kargil.

An inquiry set-up by India holds you and General Musharaf responsible. They have added something about you that you have a short attention span.

Your health is failing and as mentioned you are overweight. You are a high risk for a heart trouble.

Have you considered retirement from politics? You come to England regularly. You are very welcome to come and visit us. We live in the English country side breathe fresh air and have a good life.

Above all I could give you a lesson or two in healthy cooking.
