Lahore High Court on Thursday recommended a larger bench for the hearing of president’s ineligibility case.
According to media reports, Justice Nasir Saeed began the hearing when the petitioner A K Dogar said President Asif Ali Zardari contested the elections under NRO while it has been declared null and void by the Supreme Court. As such, all the cases against President Asif Ali Zardari have been reopened and he should be declared ineligible.
The court said it was a very sensitive issue which needed a larger bench.

  1. Courts, specially LHC has become a party against the leadership of PPP. All know about A K Doggar whom he is representing (as a silent copy) and so does the LHC but it is very unfortunate that who ever files any petition against the federal government LHC immediately accepts it. There are scores of criminal, fraud, moral behaviors cases against Big Bad Mouths of Punjab but no one bothers even to touch them. What an extra ordinary judiciary including their King Maker in SC.
