Pakistan People’s Party Information Secretary Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that efforts are being made to create political disturbance, which is against the national interest.
Talking to reporters at Dera Kaira, he said that Punjab makes 60 per cent of Pakistan and its rulers were going to launch protest in the garb of opposition, but they would have to face disappointment in this regard.
To a question, Kaira said that the objective of democracy was to respect the mandate of others, adding more the political system is stronger the more the political parties would be stronger. He stressed the need for political process instead of politics of confrontation.
He said that Mian Shahbaz Sharif was facing political loneliness.
