Cultural fusion is the essence of humanity, which leads to the most fundamental principle of peace: respect for diversity! Therefore, the Roots, while highlighting the importance of cultural diversity, celebrated “Pak – China Friendship – Theme of the year” at the G-8 Campus with full fervour and grandeur. Senior PML-Q leader Mushahid Hussain Sayed, who is also the head of Pakistan China Institute, Chinese Cultural Consular Yang Linhai and Cultural Attaché Cai Ming were among the guests.
The campus displayed a spectacle of eye-catching and wonderful monuments of Pakistan and China. The performers gave mind-blowing performances with their exquisite and vibrantly colourful dresses embellished with jewellery to provide an enchanting spectrum of cultures of the two countries. Speaking on the occasion, Linhai deeply appreciated the students for their hard work in presenting Chinese culture and said that the two countries could achieve greatness together. “Our future is together as partners,” he remarked.
