Man involved in human trafficking remanded to FIA

The district courts on Tuesday granted 14-day judicial remand of an accused involved in human trafficking to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). Senior Civil Judge Mehmood Haroon Khan heard the case against Qamar Hussain, allegedly involved in producing fakes passports and human trafficking. The case was registered against him on July 11, 2005. He was declared a proclaimed offender on November 4, 2009. However, the FIA arrested the accused on October 31 and produced him before the court which remanded him for 14 day judicial remand to the FIA officials and directed them to produce him on November 15.
