LAHORE – The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) closed in green zone on Tuesday with stagnant volume. The LSE 25-index added 19.09 points to close at 3,686.88 against its opening at the level of 3,667.79.
The volume of the market remained 4.39 million shares, which was 0.31 million shares less than Tuesday’s turnover of 4.7 million shares. Out of 133 active scrips, 31 went up, 34 declined and 68 showed no change in their opening values.
Silk Bank was the volume leader with 0.56 million share turnover and it lost Rs 0.01 to close at Rs 2.59 against its opening at Rs 2.60. Bank Alfalah was the second volume leader with 0.47 million shares turnover and it also added Rs 0.56 to close at Rs 11.21 against its opening at Rs 10.65. Fauji Fertilisers Company was the major gainer and it added Rs 4.94 to close at Rs 19.75 against its opening at Rs 124.81.
