Pakistan has suffered the most in the war against terrorism with losing over 36,000 lives and an incurring a direct economic loss over $70 billion, President Asif Ali Zardari said on Monday.
In an interview published in a leading Turkish newspaper Hurriyet, President Zardari, here to attend a trilateral summit on Afghanistan, said, “No country has made greater contributions and sacrifices in fighting terrorism than Pakistan.” “We have lost our great leader and my wife Benazir Bhutto at the hands of terrorists. No one should question our commitment or intentions in fighting the war.” Turkish President Abdullah Gul will host the sixth trilateral Turkey-Afghanistan-Pakistan summit today (Tuesday) where Zardari will meet his Afghan counterpart, Hamid Karzai, for the first time after the assassination of former Afghan president and Peace Council head Burhanuddin Rabbani. The three will set a new struggle strategy on terror.
History: To a question, Zardari said the Osama Bin Laden issue was ‘history’ and “Pakistan is looking forward to a new chapter of relations with the United States”.

More than Zardari, Pakistan suffered from stupid and psudo-intellectuals of upper middle class, a class who has lot of wealth and facilities in their home but no books, and they try to form their biased opinions on emotions of racism and narrow religious prejudices

Time for u to quit, before people take to the streets and hold you accountable for the billions that you have plundered and the unresolved murders of BB ,Murtaza and 6,000 killed in Karachi by target killers.

Much more than Zardari Pakistan suffered from religious extremism sponsored by military and Punjabi middle and upper-middle classes efforts to monopolize on smaller provinces. You people get burned by a person belonging to smaller province on pinnacle of power. He burns ur underarm. Why dont ur eyes look to other more corrupt individuals like Sharifs and Chaudheries belonging to Punjab.
I hope he joins their league soon.

Zardari sahib as the head of the country has been more tolerant than any of his predecessors.His approach of reconcilation with everyone internaly and externaly kept the interests who wanted the democratic process to fail once again in the country.Anyways,I guess President is generous to point out that we lost 70 billion dollars in the war on terror and 36 thousand lives.No one knows the exact numbers but according to one German magzine Pakistan lost more than a Trillion dollars and 100 thousand lives forces and civilian.Don't forget it strated in Zia's time.
Who says Zardari Saheb is not an honest man?. He is one President who right from day one was follwing his agenda—-LUTHO THAY PHUTTO–and dont be bothered about what people say.
