Young designer Quratulain on Sunday launched her collection of Eid and winter wear for women in a show titled “Aaminah’s Couture”. A large collection of casual, formal and semi-formal dresses and accessories were exhibited as part of the Eid celebrations.
“The show was open to the public and we provided the perfect extravaganza for visitors to celebrate their Eid festivity in a colorful way,” said the designer. “Such events are a way of promoting the latest fashions for designers and introducing their brands in the market which would soon be flooded with people looking to match accessories with their Eid clothes and budget,” she said.
Organising exhibitions and setting up stalls for a short time period created maximum attraction for visitors as the organisers spent less and got more earning opportunities, said the designer. Quratulain said her collection focused on experimenting with fabric and bringing a fusion into her designs which blended both creativity and style for fashion lovers.
Vibrant fabrics and contemporary trends in the designs were the major attraction for visitors at the show.
