Pakistan said it had successfully test-fired Friday a stealth cruise missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads.
The military said the “Hatf VII” missile had a range of 700 kilometres (438 miles) and was a “low-flying, terrain-hugging missile with high manoeuvrability, pin-point accuracy and radar avoidance features”.
Capable of carrying nuclear warheads, the military said the special feature of Friday’s launch was the validation of a new multi-tube missile launch vehicle (MLV).
“The three tube MLV enhances manifold (times) the targeting and deployment options in the conventional and nuclear modes,” the military said.

    • Don't worry! As Marie Antoinette suggested: "when Pakistanis can't get the train, they can always fly HATF VII"…

  2. If we did not have army and nuclear power, we would have been turned into Libya or Iraq or Afghanistan by now. Economy and defense both are equally important for Pakistan.

    • Economy and defense both may be equally important (although controversial) for Pakistan, but in the last 60 years Pakistan's defense got 110% and economy got -10%.

When a well established and respectable keeps a gun at home for family's protection or sporting purposes that's one situation, but when a fugitive carries firearms that's another issue. Law abiding citizens would separate themselves from the second kind and the outlook is not going to be very bright for the fugitive.

  3. There is law of jungle in this world, No UN , No human rights, only might is right, before economy we have to survive , such shitty things r important for our survival

  4. Is everyone in denial? There’s a drone attack almost everyday, immense presence of FBI in the country, US navals came to army area and killed ladin and please don’t praise these weapons or army because both were absolutely useless during Karachi base attack. As far as economy goes, we barely have one with 13% inflation rate and ultra low GDP.

    • Facts:

      – The last diesel engine Pakistan Railway bought was 20 years ago.

      – 20 years ago a country named "Bangladesh" was born much to impoverished at the time! The country is living in peace without any wild imagination of security threats since then. Their rail-road works and plane flies. Their country's talents find time to put their mind onto development work (not weapons). Bangladeshis don't live with IMF on their neck and begging bowl in their hand. They had their share of natural disasters (may be 10 times more than Pakistan's).Today the "Bangladeshi" Taka/Rupee trade for 75 to a US Dollar. Pakistan's Rupee trade for 87 to a Dollar.

Bangladeshis probably laugh at Pakistan's concept of strategic depth…

  5. let me type with my middle finger while I speak to the trolls who are posting comments on here, fags your such idiots that you don’t realize its these weapons that have kept u safe else u would of been run over in the 90s as for economy yes indeed and the politicians are to blame for that, as for defense it works on a different budget and dont say oh we should give all the defense budget to welfare, cause ur politicians will steal it too, but i guess then again ud be one of those losers who rather sell their country just so that you may sound cool

  6. Well its strange to see Pakistan, an impoverished and underdeveloped country, has suffered from decades of internal political disputes and low levels of foreign investment still feels proud of their WARHEADS. Between 2001-07, however, poverty levels decreased by 10%. Inflation remains the top concern among the public, climbing from 7.7% in 2007 to more than 13% in 2010. In addition, the Pakistani rupee has depreciated since 2007.
With an average of more than one suicide bombing every week, 35,000 Pakistanis have died since 9/11. The law and order situation in Karachi – the country's biggest city – is now so dire that there are an average of 4.7 murders every night.Since 9/11 the US has provided Pakistan – or more accurately the Pakistani military – with more than $20bn (£12bn) in aid. It's a huge sum which some believe has prevented the country from slipping into bankruptcy.
Go through the few facts down…..
you are living with these facts in HAND….????

    • Dear Well Wisher,

No doubt, Pakistan is going through worst financial, social and political turmoil in its short history. Yet it would be irresponsible not pay attention to nuclear deterrence, power parity and sheer existence of Pakistan without its existing nuclear war capabilities.

Is there a price for National Independence?

  10. instead of improving our raiway system and providing food and shelter to our flood affected people govt. is spending money on these shity missiles…..

  11. Best time to showcase your strength and potency is when your enemies have dirty plans in action for you and when facing your back to the wall. Congratulations Pakistan on achieving another milestone in your proud history of military capacity.

  12. It is a dog eat dog world. No territory in this world is respected without the power of gun. The experience since 30 years back and recent experience have shown that friendship to others is only as valuable as the value of the paper that it is agreed upon through written agreement . International rulers smile and shake each other's hands and a few month later one of them is dead and the rest of them are happy and jubilant. Future is scary and no one know what it holds !! Pakistan need to build minimum 1000 nuclear weapons and ICBMs for covering the whole globe for it's defence. Throwing money at some few poor people will not save the future of pakistan.

  13. Pakistan Zindabad hum Tipu missile series ka intezar kar rahe hain kab test ho ga Allah kare jaldi test ho jai take bare magar machon ko bhi dar rahe k un ki bhi shamat aa sakti hay .

  14. atleast pakistani scientists are working ,and working really hard to provide strength to pakistan, and when it comes to economy i think its a government duty to collect the tex, and make good policies.
