Students of Riphah Institute of Media Sciences (RIMS), a constituent of Riphah International University, Islamabad, got first positions and awards in various inter-university competitions at Beacon House Media Festival-2011 in Islamabad. Students of a number of universities took part in this grand media festival. Those who got first positions and awards included Afzaal Yousaf Baig, Muhammad Tauqeer, Tahir Zaman, Ahsan Sami, Mohsin Raza, Kamran Ali Khan, Ahsan Sami and Qazi Javed. Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) Director General Tauqeer Nasir gave away awards to the winners.
