Qadri case judge seeks refuge in Saudi Arabia

The judge who gave the death sentence to Mumtaz Qadri has sought refuge in Saudi Arabia with his family after receiving death threats from religious extremists.
Anti-terrorism court Judge Pervez Ali Shah, who awarded the death sentence to Qadri on October 1, has gone on leave after a group of lawyers ransacked his courtroom, and several hardline religious groups offered a bounty to anyone who killed him.
“The death threats have forced Shah to leave Pakistan along with his family for Saudi Arabia,” PTI quoted Saiful Malook, who served as special prosecutor during Qadri’s trial.
Sensing the gravity of the situation, the government arranged for lodging Shah and his family in Saudi Arabia, Malook said. “Though security was provided to the judge and his family, the government, acting on reports from intelligence agencies, opted to send him abroad,” he said.
There were several reports that extremist elements in religious parties had offered a bounty for anyone who killed the judge. “Yes, there were such reports,” Malook said.
Malook further said he too had been receiving threats and urged the Pakistani government to provide him foolproof security. “The government has deployed only two policemen for my security, which by all means is not adequate,” he said.
In his verdict against Qadri, Shah had said, “No one can be given the license to kill anyone in any condition, therefore, the killer cannot be pardoned as he has committed a heinous crime.”
Malook said Shah’s decision was “absolutely according to law” but the reaction of the lawyers of the Rawalpindi Bar Association was unfortunate. The lawyers had organised several protests against the verdict and ransacked Shah’s courtroom.

  2. Allah (swt) honoured our beloved Prophet (saw) by defending him from amongst the barrage of abuse thrown at him by the pagans by revealing many verses of the Quran from the seven heavens إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الأبْتَرُThe one who makes you angry (or hates you) by saying you have no children, or mocks you, insults you, or ridicules you he will be destroyed and ruined (in this life and the hereafter) [EMQ 108:3]

A man was brought in front of Umar ibn Khataab (ra) who had insulted Muhammad (saw) and Umar (ra) killed him and said anyone who insults Allah (swt) or Muhammad (saw) or any Prophet he should be killed. Abdullah ibn Abbas (ra) said Any Muslim who insults Allah or any Prophet he therefore disbelieves in Allah and the Messengers which is equated to apostasy and he must be punished for it. And anyone from the citizens (Dhimmi) of the Islamic State (Khilafah) insults Allah or any of the Prophets or he declares that (publicly) then he violates his contract, violates his treaty, violates his covenant therefore he must be punished and killed.

It is related that a man forged lies against the Prophet and he sent ‘Ali and az-Zubayr to kill him. Ibn Qani’ related that a man came to the Prophet and said, “Messenger of Allah, I heard my father say something ugly about you, so I killed him,” and that did not distress the Prophet.

Ibn ‘Abbas said that a woman from Khatma[9] satirised the Prophet and the Prophet said, “Who will deal with her for me?” A man from her people said, “I will, Messenger of Allah.” The man got up and went and killed her. He told the Prophet who said, “Two goats will not lock horns over her.”[1

    • the first aayah that you have quoted no where gives the licence to kill.why dont you mentions all those ayyats that are much much greater number in quran that order us to reason things..why dont you mention that when the old women use to throw rubbish at Propeht(p.b.u.h)he didnt go and kill her instead he was so nice to her that she converted t islam.if you really loved the Prophet you would not take lives You would save lives..thats What our peophets did all his life..and plz write reference weather where you oicked the last ahadeeth from

      • of course, there is a huge debate amongst muslims regarding the authenticity of various hadith. We must never lose sight of the fact that the earliest hadith were compiled almost 2 centuries after the Prophet [pbuh]. So there can never be any absolute guarantee as to their being totally authentic. I believe this Saud butt is a supporter of qadri. I am, and never was, an advocate of or supporter of Salman Taseer. But murder is murder, especially when the justification provided for it is vague and stupid. I dont think Taseer could even be considered an avg muslim, what with the excessive drinking and the womanizing and adultery, but his murder was wrong. Unfortunately, many people belonging to the middle and lower classes have been brainwashed and corrupted by the jahil mullahs, who are a curse for this country. What we need are enlightened, and world wise, scholars with genuine command over religious interpretation as well as worldly knowledge, and MOST important, a broad and thinking mind.

  3. Baba yeh sab Quran main likha hai ya nahie mujhe yeh batao yeh references kahan say liye hai kisi book say ya Quran say give me the ans of this thing only

  4. Mr. Aroon, let me tell u something… we have our one book Quran.. right… than we have hadeeth… check these hadeeth and let me know one i will refer u … Sahee Bukharie… also u need to learn more abt islam….. than u can understand all these things

    • Islam is not a religion that loves punishment… infact punishment has always been the last resort…. today's fanatics and maulvis are obsessed with punishment…. Islam is much more than that…. it is a complete code of life…. if someone deviates from the path they should be allowed to return…not executed…
can u cite the sources of the hadith you are quoting?

coz some of them imply that our beloved and Holy Prophet pbuh was not merciful and that itself is blasphemy 🙂

Also assuming they are authentic… the presence of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and Hazrat Umar proves they were sanctioned by the official head of the Muslim state… who sanctioned taseer's killing? im sorry but clerics and alley mullahs cannot pass official decrees… that soul responsibility lies on the Govt. and despite of how silly and unislamic our leaders are… our country is an Islamic republic via the constitution and thus the right and duty of passing out punishment lies with the state only…. u, me, taseer and qadri… all citizens of Pakistan hence to be governed by Pakistani law…

    • I think butt sahab you need to broaden the scope of ure own study on Islam, and along with emotion use a thinking head. But in this case, you should analyze with justice the case of Taseers death, and the justification given by qadri. There was NO tangible evidence that Taseer had (God Forbid) blasphemed against the Prophet. He had an opinion about the christain woman, and u dont execute ppl for their opinions. Now whether or not the woman convicted was guilty or not is a different matter. In my opinion, the Mullahs, in their blind stupidity and lack of any sensibility, flared this issue up and exxaggerated a lot. These mullahs are a curse for this nation, just like the corrupt politicians we have. Ruining the name of Islam, as well as distorting the divine image of the Prophet [pbuh] in the eyes of the world by their stupidity and rigidity.

  5. Saud since your knowledge on these matters is vast, I have a few questions for you. 1. Quran talks about some very minor issues, what does your logic suggest about this issue not being in Quran? I mean after all you are deciding someones life.
    2. I’m sure since your first year in school, you would’ve read in every islamiat text book examples about a woman throwing garbage on Muhammad PBUH to friends deserting him and uttering insults, but he just always served them with good heart. Isn’t that a more clear example of dealing with this issue?
    3. Please refer the hadith to exact location for Aaron if you’d like him to learn.

  6. Pls… my dear… i think u do not go through what i mentioned above… there is saying from Quran and Hadeeth… so bro what else u need from myside may i invent somthing by my self… and listen what’s happening in Karachi daily MQM is killing innocent ppls for nothing.. not America not u ppls who debate for the life of one guy influence in it… than ur not reading quran… than u forget everything… now ur awake up and giving me example… bro if ur also muslim go and learn by ur self… no need to ask me… one guy asked so i mentioned exactly what he need… if ur wanna research so go to the institution or Alam debate with them… now who so ever say any bad or insult our Prophet P.B.U.H … i will be the nxt who will kill the guy ifhe’s in my access area….

  7. I praise Salman Taseer for his brave stand against a black law which is defaming Islam all over the world & I praise the Judge who convicted Qadri. It is a tragedy that mullahs present a horrible concept of Islam which has nothing to do with this great religion of peace. The prestige & esteem of our Holy Prophet PBUH is at such a high pedestal that anybody who dares to talk against him is only degrading himself. We just need to get rid of these fanatic muslims and bury their shameful interpretation of Islam. Allama Iqbal aptly said : DIN-I-MULLAH FASAAD FI SABILILLAH.

  8. Bro… pls. do not be panic… we must have to protect our religion by hook and krook or whatever mean… so pls. be accurate whatever u saying and carefull… just one more step will led u towards hell.. carefull pls…
